Cyber Resilience

It sounds like something out of Star Wars, but ASIC wants regulated organisations to better prepare themselves for cyber attacks by developing "cyber resilience".

You know they are serious because the word "cyber" appears 620 times in the report (Report 429 - Cyber resilience: Health Check).

In a recently published report, the regulator says that "cyber resilience" is the ability to prepare for, respond to and recover from cyber attack.

And the regulator intends to incorporate this theme in its surveillance programs.

The report contains a Health Check intended to help entities consider their cyber resilience.

May The Force be with you.
